Retailgrid manages your session automatically. This page is for understanding what to expect.
Session lifetime
Once you sign in, your session stays active across browser tabs and reloads. There’s no per-tab session.
Auto-logout on inactivity
After a long period of inactivity, Retailgrid signs you out automatically and redirects to the login page. The threshold is set at the Organization level.
If you were in the middle of editing a grid, your saved state (views, selections, configurations) is preserved - you’ll come back to where you were after re-authenticating.
App availability
The Retailgrid app is configured to stay always-on, so you don’t see “wake-up” lag after a quiet period. If the app is unreachable, that’s an incident, not normal behaviour - reach out via the in-app messenger (see Getting help).
