# Home dashboard

> The organization-wide snapshot on the Retailgrid home - pricing health across all your grids in one view, with a revenue trend and your grids beneath it.

**Home** is the first thing you see when you open Retailgrid: a single snapshot of pricing health across every grid you can see, so you can tell where to spend your attention before opening anything. It rolls up your visible, non-archived grids into one set of figures, with a revenue trend and your grids list below.

## Pick the window

Two controls at the top set what every figure covers:

* **Period** - the history window the realized figures are measured over (for example the last 30 days).
* **Forecast horizon** - how far ahead the forecast figures look.

Change either and the whole snapshot recomputes.

## The KPI row

The tiles summarise your organization at a glance. Each is a plain roll-up across your grids; a grid that can't report a figure simply doesn't contribute to it.

* **Realized sales** - sales units, sales value and gross profit actually booked over the period, from your transactions.
* **Forecast** - forecast revenue and forecast gross margin over the horizon, at your proposed prices.
* **Impact if approved** - the change the open proposals would make if you approved them all: the revenue, gross-profit and units deltas against your current prices. This is the prize sitting in the approval queue.
* **Approval queue** - how many prices are waiting for review, how many are approved, and how many rejected, with an approval rate.

A tile shows a dash when no grid could report that figure, which is different from a real zero: an empty queue reads 0, while a queue nobody could report reads a dash.

## Revenue trend and your grids

Below the KPIs, a revenue trend chart shows the shape of the period, and your grids are listed so you can jump straight into the one that needs attention. Each grid carries its own performance and approval numbers (see [Grids overview](https://docs.retailgrid.io/grids/overview.md)), so the home page is a triage view and the grid is where you act.
